The 184.108.40.206 version of the software for the evaluation and monitoring of joint functionality and muscle strength is online with a new innovative protocol and a couple of bugfixes
Starting from today a new version of Gyko RePower Software (220.127.116.11) is available:
The innovative "Canali" protocol of GyKoRePower enables objective assessment of Canali Postural Method devised by Professor Vincenzo Canali. This protocol was developed to measure three main aspects of the human body essential for proper maintenance of posture considered a potential set of fees that peripheral actions produce in performing everyday gestures and/or sports.
The goal is the identification of possible imbalances and/or differences in the weak side, the stiff side and the load side through six quick and easy exercises proposed by Professor Canali. The 2 exercises of the weak side have the purpose to highlight the possible side in difficulty as a result of 2 different flexions of the trunk forward. Stiff side provides information on what are the musculoskeletal chains with more rigidity between left/right and front/rear. The load side identifies the segment that bears more load or body weight and is identified in a series of components that add up to the support on the lower limbs and the "fall" of the shoulders on the frontal plane.
At the end of the protocol there is a comprehensive assessment that considers the results obtained from the identification of 3 macro aspects. The tests are designed to be repeated after the application of exercises in order to understand what those exercises shift the support (load side) and difficulty (weak side) of the subject, so as to be effective on the same path. The tests are used to select the most effective actions to the subject.
