Secure, reliable and repeatable impulse transmission
Whether you need to start up a timing system, detect the closure of a photocell contact or simply make your timing technology portable,
LinkGate offers you unprecedented freedom and security.
LinkGate is the state of the art for radio transmission of timing impulses. Its technology guarantees high standards of stability and accuracy.
The system includes a transmitter and receiver. Both components are the size of a pack of cards but adding this modern technology to your timing system will be no gamble. When the Starter enjoys complete mobility and cable connections are no longer a problem, you will then discover the real advantages of
LinkGate.
The 2-kilometer-range radio module ensures enough power for any situation. The system is made even more reliable by a special technology that is not affected by any transmission interruptions or interferences. Each item of data is sent several times and, if necessary, can be re-sent after some minutes or even hours, ensuring that your important data are received and stored.
FinishLynx Interface.
Each transmitter is able to tag the data sent with an identification code, making it possible to connect several transmitters to a single receiver that can determine the source of the data.
The
FinishLynx software can be configured to allow each transmitter to be used for a different function (starts, intermediate times, etc.), making it possible to receive different kinds of impulses from different positions.
Main features
- The operator enjoys absolute freedom of movement over a radius of about 2 km.
- The radio system interfaces directly with the FinishLynx 32 software and makes it possible to send up to 14 distinct impulses (starts and intermediate times that can be numbered and identified).
- Great accuracy and reliability: the accuracy of radio transmission is about 0.4 thousandths of a second even when there is disturbance thanks to the redundant transmission system and the data self-correction codes that are sent together with the impulses.
- Lost data can be re-sent at any moment just by pressing the "repeat" key on the transmitter.
- All the data are stored on the transmitters and if necessary can be transmitted en bloc to a REI2 or RACETIME2.
